Moovers is an independent enquiry and referral service. We collect the details of your move and pass your request to an independent removalist servicing Brisbane and the Gold Coast. The removalist confirms availability, provides the quote and carries out your move.
What do I need to get a moving quote?
Start with your pickup and destination suburbs, your preferred date and the approximate size of your move. Details about stairs, lifts, parking and large or fragile items help the removalist understand the job. You can discuss exact addresses and any extra details directly with them.
What affects the cost of a move?
The volume of furniture, travel distance, crew and truck requirements, access and time on site all affect a quote. Packing, dismantling and special handling may affect it too. Ask the removalist what is included, whether there are minimum charges, and how extra time is charged.
How far ahead should I organise my move?
Enquire once you have an expected date, especially for weekends, month-end or holiday periods. If your date is close or still flexible, say so in your enquiry. Availability is confirmed by the removalist.
